Interpretation Centre

The Interpretation Centre, a separate building, contains different interactive displays about the dune and its ecology. These have been designed for different age and interest groups so there is something to appeal to everyone. Preschool children can climb into a giant Piping Plover's nest and bounce about with the eggs and the puppet chick, or make bird tracks in the sand table. Adults and interested young people can explore the dune's different inhabitants on touch screen computers and enjoy the displays that describe the dune's history or its seasons. There is always an interpreter in this Centre to answer questions or assist with handling the displays.
