Step 6: Third Party Audit
Annual Auditing ... Environmental
audits by independent third party scientists are conducted on all Irving
Woodlands (owned and managed) under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative
(SFI). This internationally recognized program is science-based, and
reviewed by recognized 3rd party experts. With the 75 mandatory performance
criteria this environmental audit is very rigorous. These lands are
also now fully certified under the ISO 14001 international standard.
