Career – Tree Planting 
- tree planter works from 5 am - 3 pm, 5 days a week, planting trees individually
- each planter will walk over 45 hectares in that week in rhythm with the crew.
- pay is according to the quality and quantity of planting done.
- an experienced planter earns $700 per week and develops a strong body – it is hard work.
- a tree planter may plant 7,000 to 10,000 trees of 5 different species in a week
- scholarships are available to full time students who work as tree planters during their summer school break
