Partnership Wins!
For the second consecutive year the Conference Board of Canada selected from New Brunswick a J.D. Irving, Limited project for its Royal Bank Business and Education Award.

Scholarships for tree-planters
J.D. Irving, Limited has donated $17,250 as scholarships this year to 37 high school and university students who worked for the company’s Woodlands Divisions as tree planters during the past summer.

Forest Discovery Institute '98
In welcoming delegates to the five days of “forest discovery” held at the Maritimes Forestry Complex in Fredericton last July, Jim Irving, President of J.D. Irving, Limited, said that he expected this second institute to repeat the success of the first in showing educators the significance of the forest industry to the Atlantic region.
