 The Quality Controller sets acceptable levels for lumber quality, and is responsible for maintaining that quality during the production process. She collects and analyses production/quality data, establishes the production procedures, and the inspection procedures to ensure the quality of the lumber is maintained. Where necessary throughout the process she recommends corrective action. Some of her training came from the Forest Technician program she completed at the Forest Ranger School in Fredericton, NB. |
