Human Resources Officer
The Human Resources Officer for Scierie Grande-Rivière is responsible for recruiting and hiring employees for positions within the sawmill. Through an intensive process candidates are interviewed and tested to ensure that the best applicant for each position is hired. In addition the Human Resources Officer is also responsible for delivering numerous employee programs such as Stress Management Training, Supervisory Training and Employee Assistance. She may give these courses herself, or she will arrange for other professionals to deliver them. Coordination of mill events such as public tours and employee recognition banquets are also part of her responsibilities. The position requires a university degree and additional Human Resources training.
