Stacking

[1]Stacking

[2]Dry Kiln

The sorted lumber is then stacked in bundles with wood spacers between the tiers to allow air to flow freely between the boards for effective drying in the dry kiln.

The stacks of lumber leave the mill and are stored in the yard for a short period of time before going to the dry kiln.
